Bringing the New York State Fair to Van Duyn!

Our wonderful Recreation Department brought the New York State Fair to our residents at Van Duyn! Every day this week will include delicious snacks and foods that would normally be found at the fair. On Monday, our residents learned about the Diary Building, looked at past butter sculptures, and even tried their very own Rainbow Milk Bar!

The next day, they enjoyed a nice “visit” to the Midway while eating deep-fried Oreos and a tasty sausage, peppers, and onions mix.

We are so glad that we could bring a little bit of normalcy to our residents during this difficult time. It’s always great to see the light in their shine when they get to try new experiences and a sense of normalcy.
